Hayling Socks are knit in the round from the cuff down using the magic loop method. They feature a stretchy cuff and textured stripes along the leg, formed by alternating sections of half twisted rib stitches. The heel is constructed using the traditional heel flap with gusset, and toes are finished using gradual decreases. The pattern repeat is easy to memorise with enough variation to make it a fun and quick knit, ideal for semi-solid or lightly speckled yarn.
