Sandown Socks are knit in the round from the cuff down using the magic loop method. They feature a stretchy cuff knit in 1 x 1 ribbing, accent stripes along the leg created with purl stitches, and textured ripples formed with simple cable stitches. The heel is constructed using the ‘Eye of the Partridge’ heel flap which adds a nice texture and strength to the heel, and toes are finished using gradual decreases. The pattern is ideal for semi-solid or lightly speckled yarns that will show off the textured pattern of the socks.
