About Us– The Wool Barn

The Wool Barn is a creative yarn and design studio located in Hampshire, UK.

My name is Maya and I created The Wool Barn in 2014 after I fell in love with hand dyed yarns. I started dyeing yarn as a hobby, but it quickly escalated into full time passion and eventually a small business.

I have deep love for wool and knitting, I learned to knit as a little girl and loved designing my own sweaters with the help of my mum. I now design small accessories and love knitting socks. You can find my patterns in many different languages here and on Ravelry.
