Our yarns are dyed by hand in small batches. Due to the artisan nature of hand dyeing process, every skein of yarn is unique and will show slight variation in colour. When using multiple skeins of yarn in larger projects, we recommend alternating skeins every couple of rows, to achieve an even colour distribution. 

All our bases are sourced from trusted UK suppliers and are chosen for their quality, softness and durability, as well as cruelty free approach to animal welfare. Our Merino is mulesing free, and our Bluefaced Leicester is sourced and processed entirely in the UK. 

We extensively test our yarn bases before they go out into the world, and only if we are 100% satisfied with their performance they make it to the shop.
